Answer:
As my gaze casts upon the footprints at the beach, I feel joy in discovering that I am not alone in this island. I seek out the owner of those footprints by following it along the beach. The footprints suddenly took a turn away from the sea and towards the forests. I still follow the footprints hoping that there are other survivors or natives in this island. As I travel along through the bugs and trees, I saw a large open area full of green grass.
At the center of the plains, there lies a village of nipa huts. I happily run towards the village and shouted for help. The people goes out from their huts hearing my call. As I slowly approach them, I saw that they are holding spears and bows. They shouted at me in a foreign language as I slowly came to a stop at 5 meters away from them. They slowly approached me with their weapons at arms, I kept my arms up as a response.
"I mean no harm! I just wanna know how to get out from this island!"
I said while the natives have a look of confusion on their faces. They respond to me but I still can't understand their language.
"I'm sorry but I don't understand your language, can you speak in English?"
Silence as their reponse, when a man with a large build slowly approached me and spoke
"You. speak. English?".
I beamed with joy and nodded rapidly
"Yes, yes! I speak English, do you know how to get out of this island?"
"I. can. but. let. us. speak. in. my hut. Come."
And that's how my first day on this island went.
