Before the demo, I was confident at first because I believed that we had prepared everything that we will need for our demo teaching. My partner and I had different tasks assigned but still we did our preparation with cooperation and teamwork. We would give ideas to each other to improve our presentation. However, as the time of our demo teaching approaches, I started getting nervous.
During
On the day of our demo, my partner and I arrived early. If before the demo I feel confident that we were prepared for anything, well, I was wrong. During the demo, there were dull moments because of some technical difficulties we have experienced. But after that, I believe that everything went smoothly. The students were participative and were enjoying the activities.
After
After the demo, I learned that a teacher must be flexible to meet the needs of the students. In teaching, a teacher must prepare not only a Plan A, but also Plan B and C. Also, I realized that I still have so much to learn about teaching. All in all, I learned a lot during this demo. I know in the future that this experience will help me in the teaching path that I will take.
