H → Element Symbol
Hydrogen → Element name
1.008 → Atomic Mass
1. Electron
Electrons carries negative charge and is located outside the nucleus of an atom. The most important electron is named as the valence electron wherein it is very much important specially in chemical bonding.
2. Neutron
Neutron is located inside the nucleus of an atom and carries neutral charge or no charge. It almost has the same mass with protons.
3. Protons
Protons is located inside the nucleus of an atom and it carries positive charge. The number of protons determine the name of the element or its isotopes.
4. Nucleus
The center part of an atom where neutron and protons stays inside it.
Octet Rule
During chemical reaction, atoms may gain, loss, or shared the minimum number of valence electron in order to have the same electron configuration to the nearest noble gas.
