Postulate or Theorem Illustration:

Vertical Angles Theorem states that vertical angles, angles that are opposite each other and formed by two intersecting straight lines, are congruent. Using the figure below, vertical angles are 1 and 3, 2 and 4.

Linear Pair Theorem states that two angles that form a linear pair are       supplementary whose measures add up to 180 degrees. Using the figure below, linear pair are 1 and 2, 3 and 4.

Midpoint is defined as the middle point of a line segment. It is equidistant from both endpoints, and it is the central both of the segment and of the endpoints. In the figure, the midpoint is at point B.

Intersecting lines are lines that share a common point which is called the point of intersection. In the illustration, the intersecting lines are AB and CD which intersects at point O.

Intersecting planes are planes that intersect along a line. In the illustration, the intersecting planes are plane PQ and MN and their line of intersection is AB.
