1. Define Physical fitness
define physical fitness is a need that we must fulfill so that our bodies can perform many activities well. Physical fitness can be said as a form of a person's physical ability to carry out daily activities without feeling excessive fatigue and of course still having energy reserves.
2. Components and physical fitness
is a person's ability to perform daily work efficiently without causing significant fatigue, so that they still have sufficient energy reserves to carry out further activities.
• Endurance of the heart and lungs (cardiorespiratory)
Cardiorespiratory endurance is the ability of the heart, lungs, and blood vessels to supply oxygen to the cells so as to meet the need for prolonged physical activity.
• Muscle strength
Muscle strength is the power, force, or tension that can be produced by a muscle or group of muscles in a contraction with a maximum load
• Muscle endurance
Muscular endurance is the ability of a muscle to perform a series of work over a long period of time.
• Flexibility
Flexibility is the range of motion, the joints of the body. This component is reflected in a person's ability to bend, stretch, and twist his body.
• Body Composition
Body composition is a component of fitness that relates to the relative total amount of muscle, fat, bone, and vital parts of the body.
3. There are several elements in supporting physical fitness in the body such as strength, endurance, agility, speed, balance, and so on.
Here are the elements:
• Durability
Endurance is a condition in which a person can move the body to perform several activities at different tempos.
Endurance can be divided into two, namely, muscular endurance and cardiorespiratory endurance.
Muscular endurance is endurance by showing the ability of muscles to do heavy work for a long time. Cardiorespiratory endurance is the ability of the whole body to continue moving at a moderate tempo for a long time.
• Speed
Speed is the body's ability to move from one place to another quickly. This speed is divided into three namely:
-sprint speed
- reaction speed
- moving speed.
This speed can be trained by running based on the adjusted frequency.
• Strength
Strength is the ability of the muscles to resist the load being carried by the body. This element of strength can also be called muscle strength. This muscle strength can also be related to muscle power or muscle endurance. Muscular endurance is the ability of muscles to withstand contractions with light loads continuously.
• Coordination
Coordination is the ability of the body to carry out activities or movements efficiently and precisely.
• Agility
Agility is the body's ability to change body position quickly. With agility the body will move quickly without the risk of injury.
• Flexibility
Flexibility is the body's ability to perform movements optimally. This flexibility is supported by factors such as age, muscle quality, joint structure, and ligaments.
