Jessica's Obstacle

1. Jessica faced a massive obstacle in her life, and not everyone is able to overcome it. Jessica has physical constraints, she is armless. Even though she has lack arms, she makes the obstacle a stepping stone. She believes that her lack does not prevent him to do something amazing. Rather than feels desperate about her lack, she uses her feet to achieve more, such as flying airplanes, driving cars, and living a normal life. She also pursued a degree in psychology at the University of Arizona. She uses her lack to inspire other people that have physical constraints can do something big too.

2. Yes, I consider Jessica an exemplary person. It is because a “broken body” does not stop us to be happy and pursue our dream. Take a look at Jessica, she has physical constraints, she has no arms, and those do not stop her to pursue her dream. She never gives up and keeps creating many best records. She also helped people who were affected by Typhoon Yolanda or Haiyan. She is such a big help to many people with her lack. Never be ashamed of being different, because it means we also can achieve different things.

3. That time, was the worse time in my life. It was when I failed my college entrance exam and took a gap year. I felt stressed and confused, all my friends succeeded with the exam and got accepted to the campus they want. On the other hand, I failed, I felt so desperate to the point when I wanted to give up. But when I read how Jessica overcome her physical disability, I feel ashamed. I, as a person that has a complete body, easily gave up on my dream only because of the failure. On the other hand, Jessica does not make her lack of arms an obstacle that prevents her to pursue her dream. She makes her disability to do something more, she does not give up to pursue her dream and get a chance to do something amazing. Now, I believe, as a person I can not give up on my dream even though the hard and long journey ahead.
